I think its also easyly integratable in to Win install disc :) when you unpack it you get Windows6.1-KB982861-x64.cab :)

Going to test that right after install is complete :)
Hopefully it works better than with ie8: no probs with the english version, but for the other langs you got an error for the IE8 langpack. So although ms stated it could be slipstreamed in a vista sp1/sp2 disc, this was for english only.
I hope IE9 does this better

If you have displaying errors, just switch to compatibility mode !

And the exe files can be extrated to msu : ie9.exe /x:c:\ and can be integrated to wim ! ;)

Yes that's exactly what I'm doing, but the same IE8 slipstream bug isn't fixed yet

And I can't send feedback cause I'm not registered at microsoft connect or something like that. What are they planning to do with a public beta if testers can't even send propper feedback....

EDIT: IE9 slipstreamed into win7 x86 works fine except for the languagepack

did you try to unpack LP .msu and integrate .cab only? for example unpack: ielangpack-SLV.MSU with 7zip or something and then you get Windows6.1-KB982861-x64.cab that is LP so rename it just in case, since IE9 .cab is also named the same :) also during integration process i think you need to integrate IE9 first and then in seperate pass IE9 LP. And reason why LP cant be integrated as MSU is lack of pkgProperties.txt and .xml... I saw this "bug" on some other updates as well...
