IP Blocking in uTorrent?

    Hi guys,

    I've a quick question i hope someone may have an answer/solution to.

    Is it possible to block a particular downloader via their IP address from within uTorrent 2.2.1?, and if so, what are the steps to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance for any help with this :)

    Have you tried adding the ip address to ipfilter.dat which it located C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent you need to show hidden file first to locate Appdata folder then open the ipfilter.dat with notepad

    this is the way to do it, and the correct answer to what the OP asked. It's about blocking a particular downloader via its IP, not about protecting you against antipiracy companies.
    But i agree, peerbloks, peerguardian, etc...are all outdated and easy to bypass for any serious companies.
