Dreamspark is the only way so far... It took awhile before an OEM was released once before.

    Successful Activation

I have successfully activated a couple of windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition either full or core installation using D...Spark keys and KMS methods available ...
KMS method requires you to renew application every 6 months but D...Spark Method is permanent.
there would be SLP keys ultimately but for now stick to these methods.

no problem activating here. somebody stupidly let googlebot see their list of keys and there was a R2 datacenter KMS on there. it only takes 5 servers to get a KMS running.

Haven't a Clue what your talking about?

FWIW - I was curious, period. I don't know anything about scripts or 'google bots' but simply entered the phrase Myrhh said into google - and to my surprise, it came back with PRECISELY this thread and those words, PERIOD.

    End of story.

in Google using 'somebody stupidly let googlebot see their list of keys' phrase, and it came up with the 'exact words' with the link - try it yourself to verifiy rather than trying to script something that doesn't make any sense at all!

Microsoft publishes the KMS client keys on technet. The problem is finding a KMS host that activate datacenter. Has someone made a VMWare image of a KMS host that can activate 2009 R2 Data center yet?
