I've never had to wait this long when updating Windows or Office. Today's MS Visual Studio 2010 Update KB3001652 is taking a VERY long time as in... an hour I think..? Cancel and do all other updates aside from this one? EDIT: I canceled and that is also taking a very long time. The system has not been frozen or acting odd at any time during update...
What do you suggest I do? I mean this is almost like a Windows 8/8.1 support forum. I only ask questions to which I can't find helpful answers through Bing Search..,, maybe I should try Google...
Just heard that KB3001652 is causing issues on some systems, is that one of the updates your trying to install.
And now MS has pulled this update from it's servers, which is a good thing. Prevents other people encountering the same bug in this botched update.
