    Hello, as in the topic. I am looking for a way to prevent my text file from being opened in any other way than simply typing in a password that anyone can steal and learn.

    Is it possible to block a microsoft file from opening with the yubikey key? Or maybe there is some other alternative program that can do these things?

    I only care about one specific file, not the entire encryption of the drive, so BitLocker and other things like that are out of the question.

    Btw. Or maybe it is possible to create some mechanism that displays the content of the file only when we confirm the action by confirming the link via email or rewriting the SMS code / from the code-generating application?

    The point is that when we enter a regular password, the document will open, but will not display the content with the text and it will only be possible to read it when we confirm it in some external way.

    I am happy to hear advice and suggestions if someone is able to write something and help?

    If you have a strong fear that your passwords and encryption codes will be stolen, please explain how you think an offline text document would send you a verification code, via email or sms, for example.
    Honestly, I can't imagine that text documents can do something similar, at least have never heard. So I still recommend get rid of phobias and use encrypted texts if needed.
    There are so many different methods for encrypting text, and if none of them work for you, you can always make your own personal encryption method, and you can be sure that you can't usually open them. Rather, such devices do not exist today, perhaps in the future, although this is also very unlikely.
    Here's a simple example, open it and write it's readable content here in public.
    here is the Encryption key for You:
    Code:
    Ey7s#1ZSxb!fH7tES$VwN82hj5ET7wnuiEdfE!CI()ZBMgNQvGGmU5ZtT)YnJORr
    And here is one very simple example text, please open it and post the content in public:
    Code:
    {"iv":"BX7Gr73OvP9qK5wW1XsRDw","v":1,"iter":1000,"ks":128,"ts":64,"mode":"ccm","adata":"","cipher":"aes","salt":"CBT8U9Wp3YI","ct":"m2VyewMmrCJUxqXIPDvvmQgRBGe2zfzK7Zjx7ex5biskFrMytWLvJHqZIMK0ERNU+/K2LWhBfpndqHn5hk2rhUtLIBfg49rUcdo/PSlv0ruaeRJ66y4Kn5e+JOFBcbSt4s9hzPvZ7N4RD1mpZPrAMPY0z7GdJDPSbFY+z5H67tcjyf8rQohoGLS8XG70iito1G/8t+9L3hafaB73grhz1TSGzJxX7vqxBNNE9sKsMSbvJAUlqIiUDdDBcyW1QjAXpiYziVGY9ymQL1LWEJI"}
