Hi, Thanks to your tools and information here on the forum regarding getting the latest .esd source files for windows 10 and 11. Also thanks regarding how to remove the windows 11 limitations. After reading and learning how to download the .esd, and convert to .iso I make a bootable usb flash drive for windows 10 or for windows 11. If I want to always have the latest version of both windows 10 & 11 on the same USB flash drive, what is the recommended way to combine them ? does there is a tool to combine many .esd together? or I should convert each one to .iso then combine all together? each time will do a clean install for windows 10 or windows 11 or may include both in the same machine. so what is the recommended scenario ? thanks
You don't need tool for that Use wim lib or dism to export the Index And apply the new wim into new wim
Sorry if it seems newbie questions but I am really do not know. Thanks for replying. But what is the Wim Lib? What is the DISM? What is the Index? How to apply new Wim into a new Wim? All I did before was just download the .esd, then convert to .iso, then use rufus to create a bootable used flash drive, then use the flash drive to install windows. I hope if you may clear or explain it. Thanks
So everything will be done with .wim and not the .esd I mean 1st step is to convert the .esd to .wim?
Esd is just wim with solid compression To save space. I don't recommend using it To create such ... Need high CPU / memory And edit one .. will not talk .. Save yourself trouble, use wim with normal compression Don't get crazy ... With this
OK, I will follow your advice. I searched the forum for Windows 10 WIM Repository OR Windows 11 WIM Repository but only find the Windows ESD Repository ... so how to get the .wim? Again sorry if my question is dummy but really confused. Thanks for your valuable time.
You can always take original iso Of window 10, windows 11 Wim file come without solid compression Every iso is 5-6 gb each
The original .iso file is the one here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/#post-992532

@jineso7341 what you're looking for is a simple way to multiboot. you need to use Ventoy to create a multiboot usb and copy as many ISOs as you want.
