I have a Refurb Dell coming in with 90 days warranty. After the warranty is over I would like to modify the bios so that no tools can grab any bios info that is linked to my credit card. Is it possible to modify the bios so no windows license / dell serial number or any other identity information is stored in the bios. Only generic info, this way nothing can be grabbed from bios from a remote attacker.
I probably shouldn't have ordered directly from Dell. But anyhow don't you guys disable things like Nvidia and Windows 10 telemetry? This is just one other thing I am looking at doing. Like wiping the machine SN, service tag, express codes would be great. Gotta keep the NSA away you know.
