    Hello everybody !!

I have just a little question (and sorry for my poor english please... :).

Is it posibble to remplace the oembios files after installing XP Home ? for example after installation with a DELL OEM CD on an ACER PC, if i change these files with ACER OEM files, and change the key with an ACER OEM SLP Key of course, is windows will be activated automatically ??

    Thanks a lot,

    MyGuyzmo.

yes. better replace them in safe mode and those in dllcache folder.

i prefer download a untouched retail xp cd, replace it with acer oemfiles, pidgen.dll & dpcdll.dl_ instead.

You can and it is simple. You do not have to change the pidgen and dpcdll files though. You can if you want to.
