I'm still using Windows 7 RC. The only issue I have with it is that the, Windows Activation: This pre-release version of windows 7 ultimate will expire in 0 hours, message keeps popping up. Is there any way to keep this bugger from popping up?
Do either what timesurfer said and upgrade to the RTM or if you want to keep the RC just go to start and type "Service.msc" and hit enter. Then look for the service "Software Protection" find it, stop it, and disable it. Reboot and see what happens. If it does not help then you need to upgrade to the RTM. I think it should work though as I have personally tested it and advanced my system clock to somewhere in the year 2011 and windows 7 RC still worked just fine lol. You cannot update it though with that service disabled, not like you really can anyway because it is a pre-release. lol
