It seems that MSFT either has opened the HWID's for Home and Pro on clean installs, without any manual intervention, or do they have botched up their activation servers? Last night i was asked to test something for @mkuba50 and my test install got a HWID without manual intervention, both, Home and Pro got it. Tonight, @mxman2k and i were testing MRP related stuff and all test Home and Pro installs, either on freshly created VM's or physical systems, got real free HWID's. If you want to test, be sure the system or VM never had a HWID (or MSDM) before for Home (when testing Home) or Pro (when testing Pro). I didn't experience it with N versions of Home and Pro (did not test before) but @mxman2k is testing Home N as we speak Real free established HWID's till now: Code: Home Professional Home N Pro N Education = didn't get a HWID Enterprise = didn't get a HWID (even with the oem_nlsp key inserted)
Three Computers that never had Home (core) installed or activated. Results: All HWID/DL activated when connected online. Two was offline during setup, the third was online. Just installing Core N (Home N)... Results in a few minutes... Yes Home N activated also.
Microsoft started feeling guilty for selling beta software so they're giving it away and releasing the source code
Did the cat give up? Or did it give up as there is no longer a need for the chase anymore? I'm thinking the latter!
The outcry when they disable the mistakenly activated HWIDs and accidentally disable a lot of legit ones should be fun to watch.
I did Pro N on a laptop that never saw any N versions and it also got a HWID without no manual intervention.
I am not sure that they have done so as yet but, I was supporting an Enterprise environment when they disabled our corporate key before providing a new one several years ago.
Hello. Does it means I install Windows 10 Home or Pro with default key and if computer is connected to internet it will activates automatically?
The following editions were able to activate after establishing Store license only for Professional: Code: Core CoreN CoreCountrySpecific CoreSingleLanguage Professional ProfessionalN Cloud CloudN PPIPro
Before it was: Code: Pro HWID activated Cloud and Pro Pro N HWID activated Cloud N and Pro N Core HWID activated CoreSingleLanguage and Core Core N HWID activated Core N CoreCountrySpecific never tested PiPro never tested Never seen Core activate on a Pro HWID before. Maybe that is the change why we got free unexpected HWID's, i don't have a system anymore that didn't get a hwid before to test.
no need to insert any key and if i go with was said in first post, yes your win10 home or pro will be activated with digital license.
