Simple question. I know it was available as separate download, but is it now mandatory part of SP2 or not?
If you mean "so installing office 2007 won't trigger OGA checks. Right?" then answer is 'yes'. The OGA addon is not a required download, nor is it 'selected' ( i.e. the tick box is not ticked by default - it must be manually ticked). If it appears as an available update, hide it and forget about it... Other than a being able to download a few obscure addons OGA will not prevent you for doing anything and it will not nag you once hidden. Obviously once OGA is installed then its a question of removal or circumvention.
Almost. I meant will installing SP2 update for Office 2007 trigger OGA checks (since I assume SP2 was released after OGA update, so I was worried if SP2 was bundled with it). I currently have installed Office 2007 and its SP1 update and all works fine, but would avoid SP2 if it includes OGA checks (if not, I'll install it ).
