Been playing with a Nokia Lumia 900. thought it was a decent phone, very quick, well made, with loads of features. I was already aware that the Lumia 710 and some lumia 800's could be jailbroken. Anyone know if the Lumia 900 is OR will ever be jailbreakable? Im curious more than anything else. Thanks in advance guys

For what I know is the jailbreak a developer unlock. You can do that by having a Apphub developer account. ;)
Note: I can be wrong.. but I only know of a developer unlock.

To 'jailbreak' originally comes from to break restrictions of IOS, Apple only. To break restrictions of the Apple devices. Their ideology is closed world the same as the ideology of M$ windows phone.
But since windows OS on phobile phone doesn't play a major role I guess nobody cares about it.
Have a look at XDA developer forums. Maybe you get help there. I am a member over there as well and it are the best mobile phone related forums. :)
I wonder why people go voluntarily to jail (buy an Apple product or M$ product) and try to break out after...

I dont know why the term " Jailbreaking" has even been linked to Windows mobile devices. I mean, android have rooting and apple devices, as we all know, have jailbreaking. I think its time a new terminology was brought in for hacking windows devices. How about Window Smashing???? Then you can say " hey my windows phone is "smashed"! What do you think? Shall we start trending on twitter???:rolleyes:

With a developers account you can resign anything with your signature, but the legality and risk of getting caught out are quite debatable.

I do like the Nokia Lumia, but dislike Windows Phone OS right now because of the lack of; and bad applications in their store.
