    Hi everyone,

I see that there are DAZ and KMS loaders for Windows Server and other Windows versions. Do these work with Remote Desktop Licensing as well? Currently, the trial for RDS running without licensing is 120 days. Is it possible to extend that? or turn on Licensing and continue? with DAZ or other solutions?

    Thanks,

RDS is completely different and it won't work with Server CALs or RDC Licenses. It is available now in MSDN Subscription if you have one.

Use the "other agreement #" 6565792 trick after you activate your licence server (free) to generate the CAL's works like a charm

Also works for threat management gateway malware protection updates ;)

Did this really work for you for 2008 R2? I get...

    Code:
"The RD Licensing Manager is unable to verify the license server ID. Ensure that the license server ID is entered correctly, and then retry this operation.

    Message Number: 0x13a3"

When I try to validate it. :(

Did you see the post mentioning to try this with a non-VL version (i.e. Retail) version of Server 2012 / 2012 R2?

I've not tried this yet but would be interested in learning if that works for you as I've already got VL 2012 R2 up and running for a few months now and would hate to have to switch editions for this
