Is there a way to always enable "Size all columns to fit" option under view pane in file explorer?

pity its one that has to be done per folder wish there were adjustable options that apply globally (with character limits for filenames of course)

I have been doing that manually for 30 years

edit: the 10 pixel drop box is still there. if anyone knows what I'm talking about

edit: it probably does not work on certain editions.

edit: while we are talking about explorer. I get a copy tool tip when dragging something to an app. that is not good. (18290)
