I think not, as it seems that using MAK key does instantly: slmgr -cpky Hence no traces of the key in registry sebus
i tested on a win 7 ultimate x64 , win 7 retail product key retrieved is false ... application has retrieved my office 2007 key and it' s correct ....
no it is not possible. Any MAK or KMS keys are encrypted in the registry. What has to happen is someone needs to make a program to parse the pkeyconfig.xrm-ms file.
Previous versions of Windoze also had the keys encrypted in Registry and it was instant to decrypt.... Do you know the locatation? Is it still DigitalProductId and/or DigitalProductId4? sebus
