To anybody out there that can help.

I have been trying to install macOS Mojave 10.14.6 on this motherboard (h370-I) for the past few months and to no luck, I have read that the latest bios may effect the install, also I have read that the older bios (1404) has no such problems, that is why I ask the question.
“Can you downgrade the bios on an ASUS h370-I”

    thanks.

ch341a with spi headder if the bios recovery or dos dont work due to lock.
have to extract bios from .cap file (remove first 7FF keeping 800 to end)

Intel FPT v12 should do the job though...

    Hi frwil,

Tried out the Intel FPT v12 method but it gives the error of the firmware is protected and the Protected Range Registers need to be disabled, do you know of any bypass around this error.
Thanks very much for your help.

You can install AI Suite III on your machine and try update low version bios with EZ Update.
