Is there any tweaks for 8.1& 8 in system.ini ?

    Using xp & 7 I found that some changes can be done to system.ini to improve system boot time and performance.
    But for 8 & 8.1 I haven't found any.Does anyone have any suggestions for system.ini in 8 & 8.1.

    system.ini was used in legacy OS like Win95 and 98. moderne system from win vista and up don't use it any more, it was just keept for retro-compatibility :p

    For slow computers How about adding these to system.ini note pad:

    [30000Enh]
    loadlocalhigh=1
    conservativeswapfileusage=1

    Fine.This will spare me some time not working on system.ini any more if it's really useless.But I'll wait a while for more replies.

    95 these were the golden days of my life.Cheers. :D
