Is there any way to force recovery mode on Award BIOS like Fn+B for Pheonix? Besides setting jumper or adding parallel port dongle. thanks hold Ctrl+Home to force update??
AFAIK for Award there is no key combination to force. The (intact) BBL tries to find the bios without.(Preferably still from floppy) To shorten some pins at EEPROM at some boards is reported to work. It'll make it recognizing like corrupt and allows to flash...Award was long time ago taken from Phoenix. There is no real development. They are programming new modules, yes, but the layout of the modular structure is quite old. I guess when EFI is coming, Award will disappear.
