yes of course on ati.com/drivers...... I ask if people thinks before opening a thread? Of course there's no drivers at all existing for windows 8 There are in early development as Windows 8. TO ALL: The only way to get drivers work(not 100%) running them in compatibility mode. Enjoy
Yes there's not drivers made for WINDOWS 8 but I mean edited, modded to work on Windows 8. How do I run it in compatibility mode
DOwnload driver for 7 or vista(better than xp) and then on exe, left click, properties, compatibility mode tab, flag run in compatibility mode box and choose the SO the driver u downloaded for (For vista choose vista[without SP], for XP SP2 will be the best one, or just 7)
Runned as Admin? Ati in the past has problems with Seven drivers, what do you expect now with 8 in early stages? ATI keep the generic one installed by Win8, with nvidia works very well(moreover installed the seven driver with no problem at all....)
I'm gonna try to edit the 11.5a hotfix package using orca, to install in Windows 8 (6.2). Unfortunately I'm gonna need some tester when I post it up.
Ati Mobility catalyst does not work it hangs at the 'Installing Ati Catalyst Manager' on Windows Developer Preview, I have ATI mobility HD 4250/5470 (switchable graphics) and it was stuck on that for 1 hour so I cancelled it. I've tried multiple times and it fails, i've said compability to Windows 7, vista and nothing. It doesn't work.
ATI lost my business after beta testing Whistler , they never stay on the front end of drivers for upcoming OS's. Same with Creative Labs. I sent ATI a their GPU in pieces accompanied it with a picture of it being ran over under the front tire of my car. the Note read it made a better chock block
Hi guys, I have a problem with my ATI Radeon HD 6770M (swichable graphics). I cannot change a brightness of display when I restart my PC. I have to disable and enable display drivers in Device Manager. What can I do? Help me, please
You may try to edit the *.inf file under xx_INF folder, add a good driver from win7 or other OS, save it, then install the driver. If it doesn't work, I guess you need to wait for the compatible driver or win8 beta...
I just posted a modified version Cat. 11.11 in the Server section, you guys/gals give it a try. These drivers are for the only 64 bit version of Windows 8 and Server. Let me if works or not by stating which version and build. Thanks.
