Hi, Now the internet has become a business hub, where most of the advertisers try to catch with their products . There are also services freely provided by some organisations like free sms free email alerts, particularly email alerts. These companies do use the mobile phone nos to advertise their clients products.
While forwarding the emails to them to get the alert from them in your mobile for free is a service ofcourse. I also learnt that the emails will go to them only as pulses and not as actual messages, so they could not be able to see the contents of the messages in their servers. Is it true or not.

Secondly, I also noticed that some time if there is a blockage of some technical fault, the actual mail you receive (not mail alert) will also be affected. Even though it is a free service, approved by the law.
