Is this spring update ?

    Hi i just want to ask if i installed the spring update..

    9600.17031, yep...

    Check the Start screen for the Power button or Search Button on the right side of your name.. <--This is the best way to check for Update 1..

    No. This is the part of Spring update.
    He need to install KB2934018 and KB2959977 so the build will be: 17041.

    Yeah, but 17031 is RTM, right?
    It's also the build of Update 1 isos from MSDN..
    So KB2934018 and KB2959977 are like "supplementay updates"..
    I only know little about updates, sorry about that.. :D

    How about this then..?

    I do have KB2959977 installed but not KB2934018.

    Regedit says my build is 17041[b/] (see attachment).
    Do I need this update anyway, what's it about..?
    Is it a securtity update?

    Windows is 8.1 RTM
