Are the Iso files downloaded from Microsoft's Media Creation Tool up to date? I ask because one of my computers refuses to update correctly.
Microsoft does not share any iso file, only .esd files are those that you can download from the Microsoft server.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...3-ltsb-2016-2015-server-2016-techbench.77028/ All Official MSFT/MVS iso's you can think of.
With all do respect my friend Microsoft does now through there Microsoft's Media Creation Tool as i got mine last night and and i downloaded it as an ISO not ESD and it was a full fledged ISO i downloaded, I had got both X86 and X64 bit. If by chance you don`t believe me then go check it out for yourself.. Sorry if what your saying is true then Microsoft has upgraded there Media Creation Tool to allow you to download in ISO format then in 1809!
Media Creation Tool - as You can see, it is tool what makes to an .iso fail or USB flash drive. If You haven't never been interested how it works, then do tell that it downloads some kind of iso files. I'll not give you lection what it is and what it does, because everyone should be able to find in internet many tutorials... So, this I say you - Media Creation Tool downloas .esd file, encrypts it, checks Your pc, if You want to upgrade, or makes to .iso file or USB flash drive, if You want install later or to some another pc. Indeed, you could check things out yourself before begin telling, of course, if it's not too difficult for you.
So far, no official information has been received from Microsoft, but stopping distribution may be due to problems and errors that users encountered after installing the October 2018 Update, including the problem of deleting user files after upgrading to the new version. By the way, it is still possible to get ISO on temporary links and ESD on permanent links from Microsoft servers.
Upgrade assistant downloads ESD, check product.xml inside the folder, MCT downloads the same ESD's, i don't spread fake info, proof me otherwise.
