    Thanks. I didn't know someone already posted those links (plus more), but I wish he started a new thread for them (to make it more noticeable) instead of putting it into a VL thread. That's why I couldn't find it in the first place.

    I think all retail versions are C2R. Only VL versions have custom installers.

    that means if I go out to store and buy a disc, it is also c2r?

    You won't get a disc. You will get a key card. Then you must create a Microsoft account and then you can download Office which is the same as if you download from the links above.
