Its possible to edit MSDM table to change windows product key.

    I have Dell inspiron 3521 laptop it comes with genuine Windows 8 Single Language... Yes its possible to retrieve windows key from UEFI BIOS ( MSDM Table ). i want to know its possible to edit MSDM table so i can change windows product to different edition..

    Pointless as the key is matched to your hardware with a hardware hash that Dell has already sent to MS...

    About dell notebooks and msdm table. Not possible to edit or inject table because dell locks smi interface in their bioses. If you want edit you must first unlock bios smi interface via bios mod. It's possible but on some config needs reflash bios via spi programmer
