Greetings, searching for a way to join a domain usinga Win10 home computer, i have found lot of results telling how to abuse registry in setup mode to join a domain on Windows8 Home, has anyone tested if it works on Win10 home too ?

    If working, any quirks ?

Many people including businesses and enterprises, at least here in Mexico, acquire laptops/desktops with Home versions. Just for the sake of saving money.

Not sure if u can do it in home edition... Might be better running the server in a workgroup and not a domain. Search installing server essentials non domain...This means you will not be able to centrally authenticate. You would be able to access shares, but it wouldn't be as "clean" because you don't have domain credentials attached to your windows login so you have to set the mapped drive to "Remember Password" or w/e it is.
