Yes I did, I have thought about it too, maybe the timebom is triggered by the web-clock, but then it would lead to people avoiding to go on-line and have the 7955 working forever, or people may be able to find out the appropriate files to check the web-clock(in win7 and office people are able to delete such files that connect to MS WGA). I don't believe MS would leave this hole in win 8.
You forgot something... You have to set it to 2012 before installing it, then the timebomb is disabled. But if you set it to 2012 after install, you have a poblem. The end solution is: If there won't be another leak until 02.07.2011, you have to reinstall it on 03.07.2011. Then the timebomb is disabled.
You are talking nonsense, I installed that copy with the normal date today...also the timebomb won't be gone if you install it with a date after the timebomb expiration, just wait two hours and you will see what's happening.
It not only reboots every two hours,but also also shows frequent non genuine pop ups, 'Windows has expired','Install the latest version' and ...........
