Hello everyone. I've known about the forum for a few years and have visited it before, but decided to just go ahead and become a member. I started using computers back in the late 70's. I started with Apple IIs in school and owned a couple of Commodore 64's, 5 1/4" floppy drives, etc. I never bothered with a tape drive, but had friends that did have them. I've built a few of my own PCs, but don't really bother with much of that for my needs. Stock PCs for me are good enough. The gaming needs of my kids give me a bit more reason to customize a stock PC with 3rd party parts (graphics cards, coolers, fans, etc.) I have a Computer Science degree from the U of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. Currently, I am very interested in Windows 8. Besides the tech stuff, my interests are quite vast. But enough about me. See you in the threads... -Missile
