Just wondering! ( strategy games )

    Hi all :),

    Im just looking for a strategy game, hmm to be more especific im looking for one with huge maps.
    Dont care if its 5 years old or more.... if its about mediaval time is better :)

    Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander (v1) have pretty large maps, older games,.. but had a lot of fun playing them.

    Sins of a Solar Empire (Real Time)
    Sword of the Stars (Turn Based, Real Time Battles)

    Both in space though. Both of them can have huge maps, Sins had a good map editor.

    Yep try age of empires but becarefu; it will suck you in. I started to play like at noon on Saturday and finished like Sunday night

    Age of Mythology is a spin off of Age of Empires, just with a mythological focus, Norse and Greek gods for example. I think it was built off of Age of Empires 2 game engine with updated graphics. It is still a good game, but i just like the sheer size and scope of some of the newer sci-fi games.

    I think Age of Empires and Rise of Nations are both good, I like playing Rise of Nations better.

    Age of empires dawn of the modern era(a medieval to WW1,WW2 game)

    Star craft(futuristic but good)

    Europa Universalis III is a favourite of mine, it has a learning curve steeper than the fiscal cliff but I really do enjoy it.
