Hello, For infos, just avoid installing KIS 2013 version 13.0.1.4190 available in final version on Kaspersky site, on a Windows 8 system. After installation, I could not launch Firefox version 15 only IE10 and many others problems. Then I tried to unistall it but the process stopped near the end and blocked all the system. Finally I launched a restoration to a restore point, I created just after activation of the OS. Everything is ok now However KIS2013 works perfectly on Windows 7. i got the same problem with kis 2013 and windows 8 after installing kaspersky on windows 8 updated i got a blue screen and the system is stopped and run in proplem i think there is some incompatible components in kis or win8 cause that
Guys, could you explore on Which OS and editions (x86 or 64) you've installed this KIS 2013? Because, my QuickHeal TS 2013 license is about to expire and I too have an idea about adopting KIS 2013 for its performance. Mine is ProWMC_X64 and installed all updates till date. Would that do?
windows 8 proWMC 64bit Kaspersky internet security 2013 works fine, ive been running kis ever since I installed windows 8 it seems to do a good job ive been bug fee and it seems to catch nastys that might hurt me, and I do use keygens and patches, most without any problems
KIS 2013 13.0.1.4190 (g) has no problem here on Windows 8 x64 (UEFI + GPT). It is working nice and well. No hindering in launching anything. There should be some kind of problem on your installation. Contact Kaspersky Forum for detailed help and diagnose.
