KB2999226 and Windows Embedded

    Hi! Does there is a way to install KB2999226 update (required for Visual C++ 2015-2022) on Windows Embedded systems by modding mum files and installing it offline?

    Wait... really KB2999226 install fine on Windows Embedded 7/8/8.1? Then that what I heard may be due to the fact that their Windows Embedded systems did not include SP1 (if Windows Embedded 7) and Update 3 (if Windows Embedded 8.1)

    KB2999226 is obsolete & no longer applicable with KB3118401 (or any newer update that supersedes KB2999226, KB3118401 or both).
    KB3118401 fully replaces/supersedes KB2999226, even for windows embedded
