this hotfix updates the shell32.dll 10.01.0240.16397 to 10.01.0240.16399 which causes explorer.exe to crash and Network adapter properties crashing and Programm Uninstall won't work. Applied the update yesterday and do not have any of those problems. You should refrain from implying that this update will make everyone's computer have the same issues that you are having.
Of this list the only issue I also have is not being able to uninstall programs..Since I really don't have anything that I desperately need to uninstall I will wait and hope they release a fix later today. I wonder how this one sneaked through QA.
You can still uninstall stuff, but not by right clicking and choosing - Uninstall. Highlight the program and click Uninstall at top and all is well, it's just right-clicking that it goes tits up.
