KB3176929 disabled cortana microphone - Solved.

    Upgrade to 1607 goes well and voice activated Cortana works fine.

    Check for updates and KB3176929 is installed. Mic is then missing from cortana.

    Seems to mess with the language cortana is set to. Everything is correctly set on the machine including location.

    Any help ?

    SOLVED:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search

    Change BingSearchEnabled value from 0 to 1
