Keep getting a failed install attempt notice about this update, KB4494441. Looking at update history it appears to have successfully installed on 5/18/2019. I have read that this update will install twice, so I'm assuming that the failed attempts are the second install. I even tried to install download and install the update manually with no success. This is what it shows in view update history:

    • Security Update for Windows (KB4494441)
      • Failed to install on 6/9/2019 - 0xe0000100
    • 2019-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4494441) (13)
      • Last failed install attempt on 6/7/2019 - 0xe0000100
    • 2019-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4494441)
      • Successfully installed on 5/18/2019
Top of the list is the manual attempt I tried. I'm guessing that the second would be the failed second install of this update, also guessing that the (13) is the number of times its attempted and failed.

Anything I can do to fix this? Should I just ignore it until the next Feature Update? If the latter, can I make it stop attempting to install?

    More information if it helps:

It's got system is a ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E, Intel I9-9900K, and 32gb of DDR4-3200.

I had this same problem. Force update to 1903 will make it go away whether it's properly installed on the first attempt or not.
