KB963660 Fails

    Windows 7 Ultimate build 7000 - 64 bit. Update KB963660 will not install, even from the stand alone posted in another thread. 15 failures.:eek:

    Anybody else have this issue?

    i have also got this problem its tried for days to keep installing the update but it fails anyone found a fix?

    What was this patch for? I haven't been offered this in 7022...

    I wasn't offered it in my 7022 install - it is for Windows Media Player I think.

    Ah yes i rememeber now, the one that only applys to people from the uk?

    That "UK" thing would explain why I cannot get it to install in the good ol U.S.of A.

    I may be wrong but i think it was only for uk users, an update for media centre not player?

    You are right - Media Center - keeps the codecs from expiring in March. I never use the Media Center - hid the update.
