Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum. Ok I have a windows 7 RTM 6.1.7600 running on a sony vaio vgnz590. If i do a fresh start it will tell me to activate in 3 days imidiatly. So I did an update and it was genuine activiated automatically. So then i made that update Kb971033 and now im stuck with a non-genuine. I just deleted the update would that fix it. I will reboot my computer in a few because I am now doing a full file back up.
If you right click computer then properties what does it say dude? Also control panel then system? If you installed that update then you should uninstall that update in control panel. Then reboot then use daz loader to uninstall that pre-activated oader still left then rearm to 30 days as it says in repository section G. then reboot then install loader again. I suggest daz 1.7.7
I have the same problem I modded my bios and use opa tool to activate windows 7 successfully, it's activated for a few months now until today, after I run the latest update from microsoft What should I do to have my system activated again? I already have my bios mod with SLIC2.1 Thanks
what key did you use? you need to make sure of 3 things. you have a 2.1 slic showing either from loader or a bios mod. you need the matching cert and a matching key for that version. if you used the older lenovo key it has been blacklisted. simply change the key and re validate online
You can try to uninstall the update BUT I personally don't think it will - it will uninstall if it doesn't flag your system as pirated ! I am surprised it flagged a BIOS mod so it is probably as armada said - the key. The lenovo key works for offline OEM activation but fails any online challenge. If this is the key you have it is probably the reason - changing the key may work.
I installed the update, Validated online, passed as Genuine and Then Un-installed the update. No Problem. I just wanted to see if my Purchased copy and my test BIOS Mod would both come up Genuine.
You have made your option choice even with a purchased MS copy, that should even convinced more Windows 7ers here that they should seriously consider Option 3 too. Thanks for letting us know.
