    Can anyone help fill in the blanks? Are there only 8 types? and is type one some type of OEM key?

    Windows Product ID Type: 1
    Windows License Type: ??? <---No clue.

    Windows License Type: OEM SLP <---Verified from diag reports

    Windows Product ID Type: 3
    Windows License Type: OEM System Builder <---Verified from diag reports

    Windows Product ID Type: 4
    Windows License Type: OEM Non SLP??????? <--just a guess

    Windows Product ID Type: 5
    Windows License Type: Retail <---Verified from diag reports

    Windows Product ID Type: 6
    Windows License Type: Volume MAK <---Verified from diag report on my MAK key

    Windows License Type: Volume KMS????? <---Guess

    These are all types identified, do not know type nr.

    The next time someone posts with an eval rebooting every two hours I will try to ask them to run a diag and tell us what the key type is, that may be the #1 key

    I did a quick google search and every time I found product type 1, it was a blocked vlk key.

    Here an example:

    Thats a XP key, maybe type id is just to report OS

    You are correct, it was always a blocked VLK xp key.

    Could be also that was the only error for xp possible.

    I don't think this is the same for all windows versions. Ultimate has indeed 7 values, but other editions have more or less options, some server editions even have 12 I think.

    These are all types of keys for Vista, 7, 2008, 2008 R2
