Hi all, There are some issue with my keyboard, here is the symptom. The computer is a Intel NUC, there is a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse, both are Logitech the one with small wireless adapter connect to the USB port on the NUC. Only the wireless keyboard disconnect intermittently(the wireless mouse is fine), reboot the computer can solve the issue. I replace the wireless keyboard with a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard, however, the same issue occurred. I have to reboot the NUC, sometime I have to remove the Bluetooth keyboard from the computer and add it again in Control Panel . I plug a wired keyboard to the NUC, it work properly when the issue occur to the wireless and Bluetooth keyboard.
Plug the usb adaptor into an extension lead so that its away from any interference from the PC. Worked for me.
In general, the above suggestions are recommended to try, but this problem is usually caused by damaged Windows or outdated CMOS (sometimes named as BIOS) battery. If it is older than 1 year, it is possible that it causes unstability. For testing, you can measure the voltage in operating mode. If the voltage is below 3.2 V in operating mode, it is quite likely that this may be one of the possible causes. But of course this is not the only possible reason. However, this should be checked on the spot, it is difficult to predict the real problem on the Internet. There is used usually battery CR2032 or CR2025 or something similar. Some of them lasts several years, but sometimes happens, that only year.
The wireless card (internet) in the NUC can interfere with the wireless usb transceivers. Try disabling the wireless card from the bios (if possible) or pop open the NUC and physically remove the wireless card. See if that helps
Hi all, I disabled the wireless adapter and use a wired cable connect to the Ethernet port, now the wireless keyboard with USB received works properly, however, the issue of the Bluetooth keyboard persists.
