    Hello Teams,

    sorry for bad english ;-)

ich have new informations and analysis about kms & localhost & Error getting 0x8007000D
    my test lab was esxi
    installed server 2016 datacenter
    installed windows 7 pro
on server installed kms from source github compiled vlmcsd 64bit (32bit does not matter)
windows 7 kms activation in 1 sec. okay
server 2016 strike with error 0x8007000D like other try's before
at last time my idea was, error comes from 127.0.0.1 or any like that
next idea, server! may be need an active directory?
    but no one works
tryed to create a host with some informations in dns server

after that installed same configuration von win7 and activate server 2016 and works
so i think its a problem with ip and socket with port if i try activate on same machine like kms running?

i know and was only a analysis.
for my solution, in web is a ready to use up to date kms linux system.
so i install that as vm and works also.

is this problem so or can anyone explain it better? whats the problem?
and i think its not problem with source-code. (i've read it and for now its muche better as the version years before)

Because KMS doesn't support localhost activation in os's newer than win 7 :dunno:

    right
i have this test only lan now internet at all.
    my lan has 10.10.10.1/255.255.255.128
but is it not bypassed if i use 10.10.10.1 ?
on pc01 at 10.10.10.2 it works.
maybe i bound on fixed ip?
so server must from 10.10.10.1 to another ip adress
