Here is the result I get if I try to import it into Windows 8 Hyper-v Window Title] Import Wizard [Main Instruction] Hyper-V did not find virtual machines to import from location 'E:\Users\Emachine\Documents\Downloads\kmsr2c\'. [Content] The operation failed with error code '32784'. [Close]
Yes That is the way I am using to import this . The only Server 2012 I have is a vmware image so no luck there. Google says it's a known problem with no way to import it short of creating a new image but then it looses its settings and shows it's expired.
Isn't it better to upload only the tokens backup along with base_board serial number, bios_guid & bios_serial_number of the VM *.xml??
In Win 8 Hyper-v nothing is showing under either folders. No xml file or disk. Apparently it's looking for different file extensions.
KMS Windows Server 2012 with KMS. hxxp://rh.ddns.is74.ru/shares/Install/%D0%92%D0%B7%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BC%20%D0%B7%D0%B0%D1%89%D0%B8%D1%82/W2012%20-%20HyperV%20-%20KmsHost%20-%20Plasmator After Installation execute KMS update from MS hxxp => http
Ok This is what I did. Installed your drive with a new virtual machine. I then replaced the following lines from your xml to the new xml. <base_board> <serial_number type="string">6881-4545-7767-7302-0482-7317-48</serial_number> </base_board> <bios_guid type="string">{A8D1DA24-42FD-4FC1-8097-A3D33536670D}</bios_guid> <bios_serial_number type="string">6881-4545-7767-7302-0482-7317-48</bios_serial_number> The server is now working properly I just have to figure out how to set up the network properly. Thanks Plasmator for the solution.
It worked ok by just changing the xml lines. I also had to select a legacy network adapter to get networking to work. It charges ok from internal recharge and from external client. I have not tried a win 7 machine to see if it passes validation.
No Thanks. I am just waiting for Deagles to update his service when the new kms structure gets figured out.. What you might do is add these lines to the bottom of you first post. To get this to work in Windows 8 Hyper-v do the following. Use the disk to a create a new virtual machine. Then replace the following lines in the new xml. <base_board> <serial_number type="string">6881-4545-7767-7302-0482-7317-48</serial_number> </base_board> <bios_guid type="string">{A8D1DA24-42FD-4FC1-8097-A3D33536670D}</bios_guid> <bios_serial_number type="string">6881-4545-7767-7302-0482-7317-48</bios_serial_number> Thanks Plasmator for the idea from your solution post. Then delete the rest of the posts in this Thread.
