If your gunna be using Photoshop and the like I would go for a lot of RAM over a top end GPU laptop. The first machine for $900 has 16 gig of RAM. Software like PS is memory hungry.
Are you going to use an external monitor or rely on the included laptop monitor? Also, can you add RAM yourself?
