If your gunna be using Photoshop and the like I would go for a lot of RAM over a top end GPU laptop.

The first machine for $900 has 16 gig of RAM.
Software like PS is memory hungry.

Are you going to use an external monitor or rely on the included laptop monitor?
Also, can you add RAM yourself?

What's your budget? There is a great offer of 17" screen notebooks in various hardware configurations and prices. You could start checking out the Clevo NP8651-S. It's a little powerhouse that's very performing in its category: 32GB ram, 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD, 17,3" screen, GTX 970m. If money is not a problem you could invest into a flagship machine, for example the behemoth MSI GT80 Titan, having a 18,5" screen, two nvidia 980m in SLI, 24GB ram, mechanical keyboard, 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD.
