i dont really know where the best place to post this is so i just decided hardware would be the best place, please correct me if i am wrong.

So two days ago my laptop was not able to turn on at all and so i checked the ac adapter and it was beeping so i got brought a replacement from Canada Computers.

So everything after here is with my new ac adapter:

Now it powers on but if the power is connected after the computer starts up then the ac adapter is beeping and the computer no longer receives power but after a random interval of time the beeping stops and computer is charging again.

However if i put in the power line before the computer starts the power line is beeping at first but once i boot the computer the beeping stops and windows shows the power as connected.

Also when i change the Battery Mode in the Lenovo energy management panel the power disconnects and the ac adapter starts beeping again and after another interval of time the power is recognized by windows again and the beeping stops.

As well if i plug out the power supply from the laptop and plug it back in it takes a random interval of time for the power to come and there is also beeping.

So is there anything that i can do to fix this problem.

    Thanks,
    Harry

i will advice you consider replacing your laptop keyboard. But to know if the problem is actually related to your keyboard; 1st remove the keyboard, disconnect totally from the motherboard and then power the PC again. beep should stop and it should boot smoothly. try that then give feed back.

i cant just remove the keyboard, firstly i am not too experienced and secondly that might void warranty.
is there a better solution other than the keyboard?

if still under warranty there is the solution "SEND IT FOR REPAIR"
if not under warranty search the internet for instructions for removing the keyboard for your model.
in the past few months I've had a few laptops come in for repair with bad keyboards and wouldnt boot.

How old is the laptop ? Could be the battery is faulty. Check the manufacturer website for troubleshooting procedures and go from there. If it's under warranty , get then to repair it for you / replace your battery.
