laptop sutdown while POST/loading os

    my Hp laptop has a problem,it shutdown automatically while starting up,sometimes just after the screen get's on and sometimes while loading the os,i tried reinstalling the os and problem remains,i'm able to load into os after a number of tries,and it'll remain working if it manage to not shutdown within 1 min after os loads up,any idea which hardware problem will be causing this,i tried hdd check using bild in util and it passed, any help will be appreciated..

    it is a new laptop model,hp envy m6 with i5,6 gb ram,and amd radeon 7670..
    and is in warrenty period ,i reported complaint by the way..
    they are yet to service the laptop,just curious what might be causing the issue..
    never had such an issue with various laptop models..

    Could be from various hardware. What's about HDD? Normal SATA or SSD? That would be one of my first choice for to test, if the lappy is quite new!

    normal sata,like i said i checked HDD using built in tool,it passed..

    take battery out and see if it works.

    last thing to try.. blow on heatsink a lot to see if its heat related.. fan might be stuck due to duskbunny wedged in it. ? did u try cleaning it for first time in 2 yrs ?
    this is usually how it happens.

    the fix is a bread tie cleaned of the plastic and make a hook at end to fish out the dust.. and check for free spin of fan if its visible.
