This means Keys will be leaked very soon .. again from Lenovo??
Hopefully, I'm assuming those would have been OEM?
someone from that school will for sure leak the oem keys
this leads one to believe that the lenovo OEM key will not get blacklisted if they are using Lenovo systems.
Guess we'll have to wait and see if M$ really did what they claimed to have done. But judging from that article, seems like lenovo already had w7 loaded on computers before the "leak" was found.
That would be a bunch of pissed off kids if M$ went ahead and "blacklisted".
I think they can still blacklist it, because all computers also have the OEM sticker with a standard serial on it.
As long as there is no real mass production it's still possible to change the Master Key.
Nope... they would have already blacklisted the key when the first SLP_OEM key was leaked. They're not going to because they know Dell, Toshiba, etc. will have their key leaked as well when they start shipping win 7 computers out soon.
Well they also that the wga can be cracked but they still continue to make new ones, so I'm not sure that it'll hinder them from blacklisting a Master Key.
