legit w7 pro dvd and slic bios ?

    hello.if i am using a valid win7 install dvd,do i still need to flash my motherboard with a slic2.1 bios?,
    before installing the os.

    You had better BIOS Mod ( SLIC 2.1 ) before installing Windows 7 if you don't want to use 7 Loaders and don't have a Valid Product Key.

    i do have a legit win7 pro install disc,so obviously the key will be legit!

    You only need a slic 2.1 if you want a oem-activation, you bought a pro edition so you have nothing to do with oem (or slic) because you have a retail version.

    PS: It wouldn't be best for microsoft if users needed to do a bios mod for a os activation
