lenevo Power manager

    Out of the blue, the icon on the desktop were it showed me the power just decided to show me a grey box. Whenever I try to open lenevo power manager it just crashes. I have a lenevo thinkpad edge E530 with windwos 8.1
    please help.

    check driver under dev.manager , uninstall and reinstall, make sure it is enabled.try repair my friend either by running as admin sfc /scannow, or boot off a win8.1 media. I would start with that:cap:

    i cant find the driver in device manager:confused:

    Is there also a way to uninstal the power manager app? whenever I try it says it doesnt run on this system

    If the Power Management Driver and Utility was installed correctly, you should see two entries when viewing the Programs shortcut from the Control Panel:

    Lenovo Power Management Driver
    Power Manager

    Uninstall from there

    you may have to re-install it again to uninstall it properly.:D

    Try using system restore sometimes its very helpful ...!!!

    when I do Scan knoq it finds nothing:confused:
