Can I just swap out the current Intel WiFi card in my T440 with a Intel AX201/AX200?

Reason I ask is because I need to update my home LAN and figure I may as well update the whole LAN along with laptops card may as well be done at this point.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bob

Is there a tutorial as surprisingly I have never done this. Sure I have update many a bios since 1995, but not one with a whitelist. Is there a tutorial as to where I get the bios, a checksum to verify it is g2g, etc?

I don't want to wast your time, but could you point me in the right direction please?

Looks like it will happen when I update my wife and my laptop as CNVi was not brought out until 2017 and I am running a T440s which has just a Haswell family processor - i5-4300u (2013 ). I need to update the modem and router anywho to prepare for the upgrade to WiFi6, so I will grabbing things on deals - other than slickdeals, any other sites that post good deals?

Good info to know though and I appreciate you all taking the time helping me out.

Running a bit late on a lot of projects - need to build my new desktop - ASUS X590 board, Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB of ram (it was on sell :D, but it is rated as DDR4-3000, contemplating on selling it and picking up a faster 16GB kit ), 8GB RX580, also moving to NVMe 500 main drive - 2020 was a bad year for me (assuming like many of you, lost too many friends), but need to put it together and start using it.

Also contemplating ordering a RaspberryPi 4B 8GB setup for my HTPC - how can you not like a 10W HTPC - will be adding a 2.5" adapter and put a small SSD in it as I have had multiple SD cards fail in the past (different brands, form factors, etc., so I really do not trust them at all), just need to make sure it will pass the HD Audio through to the receiver - any ideas from the group?

As I have been reading on different computer forums, some people have stated that once they installed the AX210 in their laptops, the laptop would no longer boot. Has anybody used the AX210 in a Lenovo T440s and it worked? I know the T440s is a bit old, but for what I am currently doing, it is working fine for me, and I will not buy a newer laptop just to get compatibility to work with the AX210.

Please respond w/ your success or lack of success stories regarding which laptops. Appreciate the time.

I am running Win10Pro 64bit, I am curious if people have issues because of hardware or software (and yes, I would either downgrade my bios or ask for it to be modded to accept the AX210.

I am wanting to upgrade because in my T440s I have a Intel 7260 (stock) card and it cannot even max out my 150Mbs internet connection via WiFi. There is what appears to be a "hard lock" @ 100Mbs, and, well when downloading large files that extra 50Mbs can make a difference.
