Sorry if the thread is in a wrong forum. I have a Dell Studio 1555 with Win 7 Pro. I use it for personal and office purposes. I administer the few computers on my network and the Pro features are useful like RDP, XP Mode etc. I am planning to buy a new laptop and was highly recommended the Lenovo Y510P on another forum. The specs seem very good for my continuous use. But it comes with Win 8 standard. The laptop is already quite expensive compared to almost similar Dell machines so I am hesitant to pay for Win 8 Pro Upgrade pack. If I don't like Win 8, the money is wasted. Is there any way I can do a free upgrade to Win 8 Pro keeping my Windows license? Or can I downgrade to Win 7 Pro? Are drivers available for Win 7?
