I have Lenovo Z580 with bios 5FCN91WW, I have somehow lost access to bios, when I select Bios setup it just loads windows. Secure boot was previously enabled so I can not boot from anything else. If I remove the HDD the screen remains blank and shows nothing. I tried using wincrisis tool and pressing diff combination to flash bios again but none worked. How can I gain access to BIOS again ?
Finally managed to do it. I was using phoenix sct flasher for windows, when I had UEFI so used phoenix flasher for UEFI windows, works perfectly now. downloaded the tool from wimsbios.com/phoenixflasher.jsp used Phoenix UEFI Winflash (Windows 32/64bit based) version 1.5 set it to flash and gave the rom file for my BIOS which I downloaded from internet.
Could you pm me a copy of this unlocked BIOS as well? I currently have a Z580 who's BIOS I am unable to boot into due to a BIOS password.
