linux windows 10/8.1/7

    how do we do a linux to windows 10/8.1/7 using pop os or manjaro ?
    or does it have to be the other way around Windows to linux WSL?
    if so can someone guide me?

    I can answer the first regarding Majaro, since I have it installed along side Windows.
    (1) From Windows Disk Management, shrink windows partition down to size that Linux and swap will fit.
    (2) Using Manjaro Live, install along size Windows or use unallocated space. Manjaro will reconize Windows and add it to grub.
    (3) reboot.

    PopOS uses a different boot scheme. Similar to Systemd boot. I may just install it along side of Windows. Unsure.

    aww ok so it needs to be side by side boot?
    can use windows as a app?
