Hello all, I was wondering if there is a way to change the name of the images on a windows 7 dvd? Like the ultimate version during install is labeled " Windows 7 ULTIMATE" . Is there a way to rename it?
use a tool such as ultraiso or poweriso the image/disc won't be "authentic" afterwards... so if you care, use a thing called a pen to label your disc after burning
I think you can do it when making a custom build with waik, usin a cmd like this adds a build; Imagex/export C:\Win7_64\Sources\install.wim 1 G:\Win7_32\Sources\install.wim "Windows 7 Home Basic (x64)" and you can rename the home basic to whatever you want, don't know how to do it with versions already here though......................
See I know that one, you use that if you want to add images to another image (ie an AIO) and you can rename thos. Lets say I use the 32bit dvd as the main DVD, the default name for Ultimate is "Windows 7 ULTIMATE". I would like to rename that to another name. What is the line of code I should use, or is there even a way to do it?
you surly must be able to edit as you can edit importing ones, have a play around with wait..........................
